At first look, you will judge they are a boyband. There is no blaming you. These boys have the looks. But for Abel Estanislao, Jak Roberto and Jeric Gonzales, collectively as 3LOGY, they are an acoustic group. They would like to sell their talents first, then maybe their good looks later.
For Protege Grand Winner Jeric, what he wants is for the world to know that he won the title because he has more skills in entertaining people other than his vastly improved acting abilities. He can play musical instruments, almost all of it. From drums to bass, to piano and even the sexy saxophone. And he is a reliable singer too.
Abel Estanislao, on the other hand, is the group's main man when it comes to vocal assignments. He sets the tone for their harmony and he sings most of the runs. Starting his career in 2012 via the youth-oriented show Teen Geen, Abel is enjoying the slow but steady rise of his showbiz career. He had five drama series in three years and he is part of the cast of the ongoing afternoon drama Healing Hearts.
Meanwhile, the dashing Jak Roberto uses the experience he gained from appearing in weekly midnight variety show Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman to provide more flavor to the group's production numbers. He may need the most improvement when it comes to singing but Jak compensates by being the most sincere performer. Those dimples and then the tune from the heart... I know you'd love to see more of that.
The group will be hitting the malls again as soon as their album comes out. For now, we can enjoy their hit tune "Pwede Ba?" on the radio and in the hit Korean series, Pinocchio. This already popular song is also available for download on OPM2Go.
