"The eyes are the windows to the soul, but music unlocks the doors", says Mikoy Morales, Protege Runner-up and now a full-blown professional recording artist with the release of his single "Pusong Hindi Makatulog".
At the packed Music Hall in Metro Walk, Ortigas, Mikoy serenaded music fans with his own rendition of hit rock ballads. Of course, he also performed his new single live.
When asked why it took Mikoy, who has been writing songs for other artists and other Kapuso special campaigns, to write a song for himself, the young singer-songwriter said that he waited for the perfect time to write the perfect music. Mikoy is also set to release a complete album under GMA Records.
