In a coronation night that extended up to 5 o'clock early morning in the Philippines, Miss Supranational crowned its first African queen in the person of Miss Namibia Chanique Rabe. The 23 year-old, blue-eyed stunner bested 57 other contestants in an international pageant that was postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Miss Philippines Dindi Pajares made it to the Top 12. Dindi was one of the frontrunners in the pre-pageant activities despite lack of preparation due to the health crisis. She was appointed by the Miss World Philippines organization, the local franchise holder of Miss Supranational, after the international pageant went ahead before the delayed Miss World Philippines local pageant.
It was almost a back-to-back win for the Namibians as their previous representative finished First Runner-up to eventual winner Miss Thailand in 2019. Miss Namibia Supranational 2019 Yana Hainisch went head-to-head then with Thailand's Anntonia Porsild. Both Namibians are the highest ranking delegates ever from Africa in the pageant's 12-year history.
Finishing First Runner-up to Rabe is Miss Puerto Rico Karla Acevedo. Miss South Africa, Thato Mosehle, who we think gave the best answer in the final Q&A segment, finished as the Second Runner-up. Venezuela's Valentina Sanchez became the Third Runner-up while the Dominican Republic's Eonna Constanza completed the Top 5 as the Fourth Runner-up.
Aside from Miss Philippines, other delegates who made it to the Top 12 were the representatives from Belgium, India, Indonesia, Netherlands, Poland and Romania. The Top 24 were also called early in the evening. Indonesia's Jihane Almira Chedid won Best in National Costume and Miss Supra Fan award based on the online voting results. Miss Belgium Louise-Marie Losfeld, on the other hand, won Miss Photogenic.

India is currently the winningest country at the Miss Supranational, winning two crowns. Asha Bhat won in 2014 and Srinidhi Ramesh captured the crown in 2016.
