The Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021, Asia Pacific’s most prestigious award for creative excellence, recently named TV5 as recipient of five national awards in top categories, bringing honor to the Philippines in the upcoming awarding ceremony and gala night in December this year.

In what is hailed as the Asian Emmys, TV5 bested entries from various networks & content providers in the country by bagging the highly coveted major awards for Best Drama Series (Niña Niño), Best Actress in a Leading Role (Maja Salvador for Niña Niño), Best Non-Scripted Entertainment (Sing Galing), Best Adaptation of an Existing Format (The Wall Philippines), and Best Promo/Trailer (Iba sa 5).

“This welcome recognition from a distinguished international institution strengthens our resolve to continue providing quality content that raises the bar for Philippine entertainment and inspires us to constantly produce world-class programs. We thank the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021 for making all the combined efforts of TV5 and Cignal Entertainment well worth it,” said Robert P. Galang, TV5 and Cignal CEO and President.

With TV5’s Niña Niño as Best Drama Series, Maja Salvador as Best Actress in a Leading Role for Niña Niño, Sing Galing as Best Non-Scripted Entertainment, The Wall Philippines as Best Adaptation of an Existing Format, and Iba sa 5 as Best Promo/Trailer, the Kapatid Network stands tall as a proud representative of the Philippines at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021’s Grand Awards on December 2, 2021 and the Gala Finals on December 3, 2021.
