GabRu wins GMA Style Camp

Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid's tandem crossed over from TV to the new media as the love team won the top prize at the GMA Bloggers Style Camp. 

The avant-garde, pro-environment-themed portrait of the duo impressed the panel of judges which is composed of GMA Network Corporate Division consultant Celso Divino, Advertising Photographer Rene Mejia and Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2000 Nina Ricci Alagao. The photos were judges in terms of creativity and originality (35%), composition (25%), relevance to the theme (25%) and artistic merit (15%). 

 

Gabru topped the four-team competition by scoring 92%. Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching placed second with 91% followed by Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix who scored 88%. Rhiann Ramos and Glaiza de Castro's same-sex concept placed 4th after scoring 87%. 

Rastro got the highest votes, however, winning the People's Choice Awards. Other winners of special awards are Glaiza de Castro as Female Super Stunner while Miguel Tanfelix won Most Marvelous Male Award.
