Miss Spain is Miss World 2015; PH is Miss Multimedia, Top 10 Finalist

Hillarie Danielle Parungao represented the Philippines in Miss World 2015. She made it to Top 10 and also won the Multimedia Award. 

Miss World 2015 Timeline

It's the 65th edition of Miss World held in a grand outdoor stadium in Sanya, China. Last year's winner, Rolene Strauss of South Africa, will crowned her successor, Spain's Mireia Lalaguna, at the end of the show. 

Here was how the events unfolded. 

The live show of Miss World was held in an outdoor venue in Sanya, China. 

Dragon and fan dancers provided a colorful opening of the show. 

Angela Chow, Tim Vincent and Megan Young hosted the 3-hour show. 

All the 114 delegates were introduced to the crowd in pairs. Miss Philippines Hillarie Danielle Parungao was presented with Miss Poland Marta Palucka. 

The first leader board was released. Miss Lebanon Valerie Abuo Chacra emerged number 1 with 425 points. Miss Philippines is ranked 9th.

Miss World Organization Chairwoman Julia Morley headed the board of judges. With her were previous Miss World winners: Linda Petursdottir of Iceland (Miss World 1998), Agbani Darego of Nigeria (Miss World 2001), Azra Akin of Turkey (Miss World 2002), Zhang Zilin of China (Miss World 2007) and Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia (Miss World 2008). 

Miss Philippines won Multimedia Award and Spain's Mariea Lalaguna won the Top Model Contest

Miss Philippines took the 4th spot after winning the Multimedia Award. Miss Russia  Sofia Nikitchuk became the new leader.

Miss Indonesia Maria Harfanti won Beauty with a Purpose

 The Top 10 were announced after the Top 20. Amidst cheers from the locals, Miss China didn't make the cut.

After the final 10 were called, Miss Vietnam was added as the 11th finalist after winning the People's Choice award.
