Maine Mendoza birthday prod racks up 1 million tweets, trended worldwide

Maine Mendoza has done it again. The thing that she and on-screen partner Alden Richards are so good in doing: trending on Twitter so effortlessly. 

On Saturday, March 3, the social media princess performed a production number in Eat Bulaga's 'Juan For All, All For Juan' segment for her 23rd birthday. A few hours before that, the hashtag #NicomaineAt23, bearing her real-life name Nicomaine, has already trended locally. 

When the production number aired, the hashtag collected almost half a million tweets in two hours to reach 1 million tweets in total. By that time, the hashtag is the number 1 trending topic in the Philippines and number 4 worldwide.
