Protege grand winners Thea Tolentino and Jeric Gonzales, coincidentally August birthday celebrants, spent one morning at the White Cross Children's Home in San Juan City to feed almost 50 kids as a way of giving back to the successes they have received early on in their respective careers. The soap opera stars were also with child actors Mona Louise Rey and Miggs Cuaderno, who also celebrated their birthdays in August.
Jeric turned 23 last August 7th and has just rested from his role as Eli Marasigan in primetime soap "Pari 'Koy". The young actor, who has also appeared in two Magpakailanman and one Karelasyon episodes so far this year, will be back in GMA's afternoon soap via the transgender drama "Destiny Rose."

Eleven year-old Mona Louisa Rey, meanwhile, is excited to be part the biggest ensemble drama "Buena Familia". This is after Miggs Cuaderno, also an August celebrant from the GMA Artist Center, just finished his stint in the primetime soap "Second Chances."
White Cross Orphanage is a child caring agency in San Juan whose beneficiaries are children age 0-6 years old. It is accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in giving refuge to children of unwed mothers, indigent families, tuberculosis patients, mentally or physically-incapacitated parents, prisoners, or victims of incest or rape. These children are provided with medical assistance, educational care, and financial support to help them in their early years.
The actors entertained the kids with games and distributed basic supplies. Every talent managed by the Artist Center gets to choose a charity center where they can extend help and celebrate their birthdays.
