At the bloggers conference for the launch of his new album, YouTuber and now a professional recording artist TJ Monterde became vocal on how he handles his romantic relationship with fellow musician and X-Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan. TJ prefers for their relationship to be as "offline" as possible.
"Syempre may mag-iisip na ginagamit ko lang siya..." TJ said. The biggest advantage, however, he added is how he and KZ collaborate in creating music. "Madami siyang shini-share sakin eh. Madami akong natututunan."
He insists, however, that his music is very different from KZ's and he intends to stick to his own flavor. In his 5-track, self-titled album, which is now available in record stores and also on Spinnr and Deezer for online streaming, TJ goes backs to his roots, the acoustic brand that has given him millions of views on his YouTube channel.
His album's carrier single is Imahinasyon, which has this radio-friendly vibe catered mostly to his fans and lovers of acoustic music in general. Other songs included in the album are Dating Tayo, Kung Siya Man and Tulad Mo. He recorded a duet with KZ Tandingan entitled Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin.
