In what could be a puzzling and exciting start for AlDub fans in 2017, Maine Mendoza posts a birthday message to Alden Richards on Twitter, calling the latter "Tans" for the first time. Tans automatically became a trending topic on Twitter.
Fans were quick to post their reactions and guesses on what could be the meaning of Maine's new secret endearment to her on-screen partner. Here are some of interesting reactions.
Alden replied to Maine's tweet, calling her Grazie Miller.
Meanwhile, in a message given by Maine after Alden's production number in Eat Bulaga on Monday, she advised her love team to slow down from work. "Alam mo naman 'yung mga sinasabi ko sayo, sana 'wag mo kakalimutan. Gets ko naman, na... 'yan.. trabaho, trabaho... pero 'wag mo pa rin kalimutan na magpahinga minsan, take a break... 'Wag ka masyadong kayod kwarenta anyos!"
For his reply, Alden emphasized his care for Maine, on and off camera. "Alam mo naman na di masyado nagkikita... 'yung pag aalaga ko sayo, yung pag... yung care ko sa'yo, Maine. Di nagbabago 'yan. Kahit from afar lang ako, aalagaan pa 'rin kita the most (best) I can."
It seems like we will be seeing more of AlDub in 2017, may we know the meaning of "Tans" or not.
