Klea Pineda turns 18, gets ready to join pageants

Rising Kapuso star Klea Pineda, the latest Starstruck winner, is now 18 years old. Aside from little changes of how the public should see her, one of Klea's goals has never been this clearer: to win the right to represent the Philippines in an international pageant. Can she do it?

For starters, Klea stands 5'9", way qualified to be in the international stage. She's maintaining her morena looks and has vowed to stay fashionable and stylish as possible. During the bloggers' conference for her 18th debut party, the Starstruck 6 Female Ultimate Survivor also said that she's willing to train hard to stay sharp for the Q&A segment.

For her debut photoshoot, which was shown to the bloggers in the event, online writers notice the close resemblance with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. Klea cleared that there was no intention to copy Wurtzbach at all. "Yeah, she's very beautiful and successful pero ayoko naman na gayahin siya. Gusto ko gumawa ng sarili kong ideas...

When asked which of the Binibining Pilipinas titles she wants, Klea is hoping to be the Philippines in one of the succeeding Miss Universe pageants. "Syempre Miss Universe! Puwede ding Miss International. Kahit ano basta gusto ko lang talaga mag compete. Kung ano man ibigay sa akin ni Lord," she said.

To stay on track to her goal, Klea wants to start her training this year. "Gusto ko sana mag training na this year para pag sumali nako, parang buo nako. Masasabi ko na sa sarili ko na kaya ko na. Siguro after 3 years or 4 years (from now)."

But what if she's not given a title on her first attempt? Similar to what happened to Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa and Miss Universe Philippines 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Klea said that she is willing to try lots of times to get herself a crown. "Willing ako talaga na mag try ng mag try. Kagaya ng pag audition ko na mag artista. Na-reject man ako nung una, pagtry ko ng pangalawang beses, pasok ako... Nasa timing 'yan ni Lord, diba?

On future boyfriends who could stop her from achieving her dreams, Klea looked at the camera with a very determined face and said, "No one can stop me." "Sasali talaga ako. Love kita pero wag mokong pigilan sa dreams ko."

We wish Klea the best of luck and we hope that we can see her wearing the Philippine sash someday. Happy 18th Birthday, Klea!
