OPM is doing good and for GMA Playlist artists Anthony Rosaldo Kaloy Tingcungco and Mitzi Josh, now is the perfect time to introduce their new songs.
Even with several years in the making for his new song ‘Batubalani’, The Clash Season 1 finalist Anthony Rosaldo shares that he has made adjustments to make his song appeal to P-pop lovers. With the likes of SB19 and Bini dominating streaming, Anthony recognizes that he has to ride with the times and make his new songs more upbeat.
When asked who his favorite P-Pop group is, Anthony is all praises for SB19, specifically for one its vocalists Stell Ajero. The group actually serves as his inspiration also in creating music.

Kaloy shares further that with OPM being recognized now than before, he is excited to jump into the local music scene. ‘Infatuation’ is about how someone is unsure of his feelings for another person. “Clarity is important. I hope this song will help those who are in this situation to think about their romantic life some more,” he discusses.

For Mitzi Josh, while ‘Let Me Down Easy’ has a more foreign sound in it, she says that it is no less than OPM. “Love is universal and a Filipino writing it and singing it makes it a Filipino music.”
