In the age of live online selling, we have seen that almost all mid and small-ticketed items can be disposed over the internet. From cellphones to grocery products and clothes, we’ve seen several online selling sessions do the trick. But for high-value goods like diamonds and jewelries? Not so much.
Enter the sparkly duo of CEO Shina Sevilla-Aquino and her ambassador and live seller Jenela Tiguinay-Cachero who are doing wonders for homegrown jewelry brand Amara Shia. There are “miners” who are willing to put out not just thousands from their pockets, but also millions.
Shina herself is surprised of this outcome. “Around 98% ng sales namin come from online selling. Nagulat din ako and so happy to have found our customers online,” Aquino said. Their online efforts are exceeding expectations that they are not too keen on putting up a physical shop for their jewelry brand.
One would be quick to argue that although efficient, the online world is not entirely safe especially when dealing with super high-value items like diamonds and jewelries that are too inviting for those with bad intentions. Shina guarantees that she has provided multiple safety nets for her products to be safe in the quick but complicated online transactions. “I have trained my staff and in the years that we are doing this, we somehow managed to create a system to protect the products from bad people on the internet,” she disclosed.
Mastering the friendly but secured way of online selling, Jenela enters the scene, whispering the sparkly allure of jewelries to those who are in love with them, and in the process evading the dishonest ones. “Parang nararamdaman ko na din ano ang mga hinahanap and gusto ng mga ‘madame’. That is why I can also speak honestly to them about what is good for them from our products”, the former OFW turned influencer said.
In fact, and even though online selling is delivering the sales, this aim to go personal with their clients is by meeting them even ones in a while. Then went their exclusive 2-day auction at the Celebrity Suites in Okada Manila in August which is also considered an “eye ball”or meeting of jewelry lovers.
May it be as an investment, a security blanket just in case life tests you financially, or an expression of individuality to complete an ensemble in the most important occasions of our lives, Amara Shia comes to the exclusive few who really appreciates everything that shines and sparkles — counted in karats, bigness of the gem, and also in dreams and inspiring life stories.
