Moving On From A Broken Heart a la Angelica Panganiban

Truly, heartbreak exempts no one. Not even the popular.

Showbiz royalty Angelica Panganiban gives out another Twitter-trending appearance on Sunday hit show Gandang Gabi Vice, speaking openly on what happened between her and estranged boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. "Lesson learned talaga, wag sikat," Panganiban said, divulging how difficult it is for her to move on seeing her ex-boyfriend's billboards and TV commercials often. 

But how does a popular actress and pretty face like her handle breakups? 

In true Madame Claudia Buenavista form, the very role she played in the Pangako Sa'yo remake, Angelica revealed the importance of maintaining the right amount of pride. "May nabasa kasi ako diba na parang, 'wag mong bigyan ng chance yung mga tao na makita kang nasasaktan at nahihirapan habang sila nagdiriwang." She followed it up by staying positive as much as possible and letting go of ill-feelings you have towards the person. 

Vice then echoes Angelica's statements, saying a failed relationship doesn't mean that you're a failed person. "Ako, feeling ko hindi ako bigo. Feeling ko nagwagi pa rin ako. Dahil nung mga panahong yun naging masaya naman ako." "Totoo," Angelica reacted. "Kasi kung babalikan niyo, bakit ka naman magiging bitter diba kung mas maraming beses ka naman naging masaya dun sa taong 'yun," she added. 

The fun conversation turned dramatic at one point, when Panganiban recalled the sad times. "Nakita ko yung sarili ko na para bang sobra kang down." Trying to hide her tears, she continued; "Kasi hindi ako nag o-open up sa kaibigan ko, sa pamilya ko ganun. So nung nakita ko yung sarili ko na ganun, parang 'Huy girl! Tama na! Nakakaawa ka na. Down na down ka na. Bangon! Ganun." 

Angelica also revealed that she had more challenges with Derek Ramsay whom she had a relationship with for six years. "Ay kung iyak yung (pag uusapan), yung kay Derek talaga dahil anim na taon niya akong pinaiyak eh. Eh dito (John Lloyd Cruz), parang minsan lang naman ako umiiyak... Pag sobrang sakit na talaga tapos yung four years, masaya kami."

But is it really over between her and John Lloyd? In the final segment of the show where she answered questions from social media, Angelica was asked when is the right time to give up. The actress quipped, "...Hanggang ngayon pinaglalaban ko pa 'rin!" 

Will there be a second chance?
