A few months after taking off his hair extensions, those fancy dresses and the whole feminine persona he has to embrace for his well-praised portrayal of transgender Destiny Rose, Ken Chan is off to another role -- as a concert artist.
Another product of the late Kuya Germs's midnight variety show "Walang Tulugan", Ken Chan is set to hold his first solo concert at Zirkoh in Tomas Morato on Friday, August 19. When asked what would the audience expect, Ken said; it would be a night of beautiful music.
Unlike actors of his age who aren't really singers but are forced to record albums to ride with their current commercial successes, Ken Chan actually can sing. And while he has a variety of production numbers in mind including some dancing, Ken said that the show will highlight his singing capabilities. That would be ballads and love songs to be specific.
He will be joined by his "leading men" in his very successful afternoon soap Fabio Ide and Jeric Gonzales. Other GMA artists like Kim Rodriguez, Sheena Halili and some surprise guests will also be in the show.
