No Darna for Pia Wurtzbach

Golden headgear and handcuffs for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach? 

No. Not really. During the press presentation of the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2017, Pia shuts off possibilities that she is the next Darna. 

"Nagpapasalamat ako na ako ang napupusuan na maging Darna... Pero hindi ako e. Thank you, pero parang iba ang plano ng ABS-CBN para sa akin", the beauty queen said. 

(I'm thankful that people would love to see me as Darna. But, no. Thank you, but ABS-CBN has other plans for me.) 

Looks like the search for the next Pinay superhero is still on. Contenders as of press time are Maja Salvador, Julia Montes and Yassi Pressman. Comment your choices below! Or you can also tell us if you really want Pia Wurtzbach to be Darna.
