We are used to showbiz kids not confirming their romantic relationships until they've decided to call it quits. Its for some branding or marketing reasons that some real-life love affairs are being kept as a secret. But for Jake Vargas and fellow Kapuso Inah de Belen, daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada, admitting what they have together is part of the process. They are even counting the months and days!
In Jake Vargas birthday with his fans last July 12, the Artist Center's hearthrob proudly mentioned that he and Inah are officially 9 months together.
Question: "Gano na kayo katagal ni Inah?"
Jake: "Sabihin na natin mga 9..."
Question: "9... months?"
Jake answers with a smiling nod.
The young actor, who just turned 25 last July 9th, however, mentioned that he has a difficulaty taking Inah out on dates because of their busy schedule. "Pero ngayong dating na anniversary..." he cut his statement with a smile.
But while still in their honeymoon stage, Jake shares that he has no interjections about him and his girlfriend being paired with other celebrities. "Trabaho lang yun. Wala namang problema dun," he said.
When asked what is it in Inah that he liked the most, it's the latter acceptance of who he is. "Siguro... kung ano ako ngayon, tanggap niya ako. Kung ano yung mga pinagdaanan ko, tanggap niya. Si Inah kasi... sobrang bait."
The management of Artist Center confirmed that Jake will star in a new soap. It was not mentioned, however, if he will be partnered with his girlfriend. The actor just wrapped his role as Gilas in the Encantadia remake. He last partnered with Inah in the afternoon soap "Oh My Mama" which ended in December 2016.
