My Fairy Tail Love Story wows with great production value

'My Fairy Tail Love Story' could have been the perfect Metro Manila Film Festival entry, the perfect movie to bond family together during the Christmas season. Regretfully, the Regal film missed the cut but will now be splashing its way to the big screen on Valentine's Day. It's ready to warm hearts with its charming storytelling and vibrant production setting.

Glitz.PH had the chance to watch the movie ahead of its nationwide premiere and it did not disappoint. It may not showcase the "hugot" that most romantics are looking for especially in the day of hearts, but it exudes its own charm that will most likely please the much younger audience.

Janella Salvador succeeds in making her conyo character annoying. If it's true that she did the swimming scenes by herself, then she should be doing more mermaid roles in the future. The girl can swim!

We may have to push Elmo Magalona a little bit more acting wise. That is said even if his acting requirements for this movie isn't big. Despite the nerdy character, our gay sides are asking: "Why is Elmo so hot?

What we are celebrating really is how beautifully the film is shot. Below are some of the vibrant scenes that will set you in the right mood for a Happy Valentine's season.

See you at the cinemas on February 14!
