When Max Collins landed her first role on primetime, it wasn't just any role. Her character is entangled in a love triangle with characters portrayed by no less than 'the' Lorna Tolentino and Dingdong Dantes. It was a heavy drama series that saw her exchanged long lines in challenging scenes with the veteran actors in "Pahiram Ng Sandali".
She survived. Since then, she was referred to as a serious dramatic actress.
Her title character came less than a year later with "Innamorata", an afternoon drama fantasy series that paired her with experienced young actors Luis Alandy and Jackie Rice. For a 22 year old, portraying dual characters in two different time periods is too huge of a task. But Max carried the show to 88 episodes and a nomination at the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television for Best Daytime Drama Series.
Max played several big roles since then. She is one of the lead casts in 2015's "Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali?", as lead once again in 2018's romantic series "The One That Got Away", and got another lead role in 2019 serial drama "Bihag."
For 2021, Max will share lead TV credits with Carla Abellana in the drama romance series "To Love and To Hold." This is her first major project for renewing a talent contract with the Kapuso network.
Here is our interview with Max Collins on her talent contract renewal with GMA 7.
