In "Hearts of Ice", Choco is given the task to portray the young Xian Lim, the child Enzo whose zeal to achieve great things in life is very evident. On the side, Franceso Maffi, Choco's complete screen name, is filming the role of a special child who inspires the lives of those around him. From small screen to the big screen, Choco is becoming our poster boy of the good.
"The Special Gift" is set to be released soon after wrapping up filming which was delayed due to the pandemic. Choco portrays the role of a gifted Child, loved by his mother and siblings and admired by his teachers but is longing for the affection of his own father. From here stems the drama of how love resolved the conflicts around us.
During the media conference, Choco had a little side note also on being gentle to those who are trying to drag us down and shift our energies on those who only brings light to our lives - aligned with his role in his launching movie.
"The Special Gift" is an independently-produced family drama and initial venture of RCGomez Entertainment Productions. Also in the man cast are reliable actors Mike Lloren and Migue Moreno, theater and film actresses Malou Canzana, Romina Cauilan and Ella Sheen, newbie actor Angelo Gomez and young actor BJ "Tolits" Forbes. Soliman Cruz has a special participation.
The movie is written by Erick Castro, with Mr. Roy Gomez as executive producer and directed by Lawrence Roxas in his first full-length film direction.
