Reality comedy show LOL: Last One Standing to premiere on Prime Video on July 4

What if comedians themselves are not allowed to laugh? They can tell a joke, but they cannot react with laughter, even to the jokes of others.

This is the original concept of LOL: Last One Standing, a reality show present in over 10 countries worldwide, which is about to air its first season in the Philippines. This humor-loving nation will find itself treated to super fun episodes featuring the country's top comedians, including sitcom stars Rufa Mae Quinto, Tuesday Vargas, Empoy, and Jayson Gainza, breakthrough rom-com and theater actors and real-life couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles, along with Pepe Herrera, comedy bar personalities Negi, Chad Kinis, and support comedian Victor Anastacio. No less than comedy royalty Vice Ganda herself will serve as host and gamemaster.

Members of the press were given the chance to watch the first two episodes in advance, providing a glimpse of the show's excellent entertainment value. The show does a great job of keeping the energy high, with each comedian bringing their unique flair and comedic style. It's a testament to the vibrant comedy scene in the Philippines, which is brimming with talented performers.

The first two episodes have left me eagerly wanting more. The show provided a perfect blend of wit, charm, and everything hilarious and funny. If you're looking for a show that guarantees laughter and unexpected turns, this is definitely one to watch.

Don't miss out on the hilarity and excitement of LOL: Last One Standing Philippines. Tune in to Prime Video starting July 4, 2024.
