A South Korean big screen super hit is coming to the Philippines!
Ma Dong-seok aka Don Lee, reprises his role as a heavyweight law enforcer who travels to Vietnam to extradite a petty criminal, only to pick up the trail of Son Kuk-ku's ferocious killer. The Roundup, the violent but entertaining follow-up to 2017's "The Outlaws", is coming to the Philippines.
Since the movie's opening in Korea just last month, it had the biggest showing of a single film at the box office since the start of the pandemic. It attracted over 2 million moviegoers during its opening weekend, tallying the biggest gross for a Korean title since June 2019. Currently, around 9 million moviegoers showed up in the cinema to watch the action film.
The cast is led by Marvel's 'The Eternal' and 'Train to Busan' actor Don Lee who portrays cop Ma Seok-do. He is joined by Choi Guy-hwa, Heo Dong-won, and Ha Joon. Jang Isu of the Isu Clan returns to add comic relief to the film.
This blockbuster will be shown in SM Cinemas all over the Philippines starting June 22.
